25/11/2009: Fxdd Donates $25,000 To The China Earthquake Relief Effort

NEW YORK, NY, June 25, 2008 – FXDD, a global leader in online foreign currency exchange, today announced it made a $25,000 donation to the Consulate of People’s Republic of China in New York for relief programs related to the earthquake disaster in China on May 12, 2008. Vice Consul, Ms. Chai Yuhai, accepted the donation on behalf of the Consulate.

“Our donation to the Chinese Consulate will help assist people affected by the earthquake in China last month. This is a token of FXDD’s great concern and sympathy for the people of China during this difficult time,” said Tom O’Reilly, FXDD’s SVP of Sales.

The 2008 Sichuan earthquake killed nearly 70,000 people and left about 4.8 million people homeless. It is the deadliest and strongest earthquake to hit China since the 1976 Tangshan earthquake.
